UNCG’s Data Governance program is an institution-wide initiative dedicated to the support of accurate and timely data-informed decision making.
Data Governance provides us with a structure in which decisions can be effectively and efficiently made for the use and access of an organization’s data. The work of Data Governance will increase trust, improve efficiency, save money, improve processes and build opportunity while also reducing risks, preventing privacy violations, and ensuring compliance to policies and regulations.
