Data Central has launched and is now available to faculty and staff at UNCG.
Maintained by Institutional Research and Enterprise Data Management (IREDM), Data Central is a new resource designed to help faculty and staff find, understand, and use institutional data more effectively. It brings together commonly used reports, dashboards, data systems, data definitions, training resources, and data governance information in one location.
What Is Data Central?
Data Central is a gateway to institutional data resources across UNCG. Rather than serving as a single data system, it helps users:
- Find the appropriate reports, dashboards, and data resources quickly
- Understand data definitions and business terms
- Access training and support resources
- Learn about data governance standards and practices

Data Central makes it easier to locate trusted institutional data resources and promotes consistent use of data across the university.
Resources shared through Data Central follow UNCG Data Governance standards and use approved definitions whenever available, helping support more reliable and informed decision-making.
